CampSUP for Kids - Potomac
The Funnest Camp of The Summer! This outstanding program is offered to girls and boys ages 12-17. Paddlestroke SUP’s youth stand up paddle boarding (SUP) program is owned and operated by Greg ”Suggz” Miller, who personally runs the program. Greg is SUP certified by the American Canoe Association, and is one of the first ACA L-3 RSUP-certified instructors in the world and currently L-4 RSUP certified.
Four fun days of Stand Up Paddling and tailored tuition!* From day one, the SUP experience starts with quality instruction from beginner strokes and maneuvers to more advanced by day four. During this fun-filled week, beginner paddlers will develop a solid foundation for stand up paddling.
*We will craft a program for your group of kids from 1-4 days with options of half-day or full-day available.
My son David had the time of his life at Camp SUP with Greg Miller. He came home stoked every day about how much fun he had. He learned all about the gear, safety, and correct paddling form. He went from a beginner to an advanced SUPer during the week. David even got to do some river running in small rapids at the chutes on the Potomac River! He wants to come back and do it again!
My son Shane had the most fun ever at Camp SUP. He loves stand up paddle boarding! He went to bed early every night so he could be ready for his next day of fun on the water. ‘Hey Mom, I can paddle on one side of my board and go straight, then I can do a 360 pivot turn!’ I had to see what all the fun was about and signed up for lessons too! Stand up paddle boarding is so easy when you learn the correct fundamentals from Greg and a great core work out too…go figure!
